This solution was built specifically for Rental and Service Enterprises that have a fleet of legacy OBDII enabled vehicles that do not have remote connectivity. Bringing these vehicles into monitoring for health, serviceability as well as usage patterns can give a control to enterprises to lower costs and increase profitability

The solution comprises of off-the-shelf OBD II module that is fitted into the vehicle to provide cloud connectivity over WiFi/cellular backhaul of mobile phones. VeCrear team built a suite of applications to monitor the maintenance levels of the various car components and used predictive analytics to caution on potential failures. This data was used to provide dashboards & reports to Service enterprises for capacity and inventory management

The cognitive intelligence team at VeCrear added a driver behaviour analysis module with camera based data capture and visual analytics to project the focus and alertness of the driver. This data correlated with engine parameters like speeding, braking, tyre wear &tear etc can give useful insights to Rental car agencies for costing inputs as well as user profiling and tariff plan personalisations
